OK, it would be really nice if that weren't the case - currently, I just create some random object off-artboard that has the correct starting fill/stroke/colour so I can pull it's attributes with the pipette tool when starting a new doc. Not being from the arty-crafty set (I nearly said arty-farty there, freudian slip ), I only use some very basic colours and strokes for my obviously superior technical purposes Like most preferences, it's just laziness - it's not as if it takes longer than two seconds to copy the object's attributes LOL, but if it can be done, it just keeps the flow going and me happy TIA Neil

  @jroth you are welcome, nice that is helpful Boolean combining is exactly the same thing as combining in other vector programs. So it is nothing special. In VS you can find Combine under the Boolean operations. And of course you can also combine strokes

  @Bones Anti-aliasing can be turned off using View -> Subpixel -> None. But it has only a small impact on redraw performance. At what zoom level was this slowdown observed? and is it with the AI import or the SVG (results are different). As for the AI file: some features are not (yet) supported, there will be improvement in the future.

  @Boldline Yes, the Stylus is a bit sensitive to movement. I will try to find a solution for this.

  @b77 Thanks - I like the location of this option better than where illustrator has it. Rotating the canvas and keeping the created vectors and such in a normal view can be great for certain things. I wonder if an option to keep the canvas in normal view and rotate the material created might also be a good option to add eventually in some capacity

  @VectorStyler so far is always been a literal double tap, but I will try adding that function to a stylus button and see how that goes. I agree the stylus overall is less precise and using a stylus button might help in multiple ways
