@Raaskot In this case the join can only be done by selecting both nodes (even if overlapping) and using the join command from the context panel (with the Node tool).
Should it be an option to join automatically?
@monsterfox When using custom shapes as corners, the shapes are not "bent" to the corner angle. They are just attached.
If you need proper rounded corner, use the default corner type.
@ehab In the Paragraph panel menu, select Direction -> Right to Left and then align the text to right.
The OpenType typography features should work automatically (but can be selected in the Typography panel also).
This example is using the Times New Roman font on MacOS: 0_1754722023500_arabic2.vstyler

Understood. I will back up that folder regularly.
The following data
xxx.settings
xxx.vstool
xxx.vswork
may be modified by updates, so even if you back it up, there is no guarantee that it will be 100% inherited.
