“Caching mechanism”。

The caching mechanism of AI should be at the software system level, but that of VS seems to be at the document level. In many of the same scenarios, AI is very smooth, while VS is very laggy (the user experience is not very good). VS files often have a capacity problem of more than 30MB, while in AI it will not exceed 10MB. Can this problem be improved in version 1.3?

@monsterfox I need example VS and AI files with the same content where the VS is larger.
Are there images in the file?

@VectorStyler
In the VS file, the graphics have been edited and the cache has been cleared, but it seems that it cannot be completely removed cleanly. If it is copied to a new file, such a large file size will not occur. The file is too large to be uploaded. I will send it to your email.

@monsterfox Got the file. The VS file contains 3 images that are not shown on the canvas.
These images can be accessed and removed from the Links panel.

@VectorStyler The pictures that are not shown on the drawing board should not exist in the link panel, right?

In VS, some images can be kept even if they are deleted from the canvas.
Also: the images from the Links panel can be placed in multiple objects, without duplicating the image.
It is a sort of "asset" that is part of the document, used or not.

@monsterfox - I use a free service called "Wetransfer" to upload larger files cannot be uploaded to the forum. I also use it when I have a lot of files to send or if i don't want to take up space in my email storage to do so.
It gives the option to send an email or create a link you can copy and paste. I prefer the second option
They have paid plans but the free one works well for me. You do have to sign up for an account.
