PostScript Type 1 errors in 1.2 (Windows)
-
In recent version (at least 1.2 on Windows), there is an issue in how menu styles are listed. The error shows both on context toolbar and in the Glyphs panel:
In the screenshot AvantGarde Book, Oblique, Demi and Demi Obligue are listed in all capital letters and with incorrect style names, BOOK and DEMI appearing twice, instead of using correct styles. The full font names are correctly listed in the font menu itself, and it seems that the fonts are correctly rendered and exported.
The error might be related to changes in Windows related to fading support for Type 1 fonts, but they still render correctly in e.g. QuarkXPress, at least if the fonts are installed in Windows/Fonts rather than user-specific Font folders.
Affinity apps currently (2.5.3) show similar errors.
I have not been able to properly test operation of Type 1 fonts on macOS but it seems that there is lessened system support also on macOS for the legacy PS fonts.

@Arde I opened a bug on this and will try to fix it ASAP.
