Imported Image Corruption
-
A few things:
-
Memory Mgmt is going crazy still, but we knew this from the other thread.
-
I noted that it seemed to go "off" when the Placed Image file "corrupted" itself in Layers panel and became "Stroke", "Object" respectively.
-
Neither of those elements can be duplicated in the file, when I tried.
-
Saved version of the file size: 45.3MB

Undo/Undo History is misbehaving somehow. It likes to forget History steps. In this file, I was trying to duplicate the Text Layers so I could do a Text to Curves and it "remembered" the version I got wrong with the path and text-to-path relations broken. I had to open an older file to get those paths back. I'm still creating clips for it.

I believe there might be a relationship with Undo history going poof and Layer corruption/Object mishandling...

I will send some other files directly.

Update: I noticed "Ctrl + V" (Paste) is not working, however, I soon discovered I could Paste using the Edit menu. I tried to copy and paste those "Stroke" & "Object" elements.. it produces an odd hang in the application.

I go to produce the hang around 1:08

@debraspicher I will try to replicate this. The memory issues are already fixed (will be released soon).
History has a limit of 128 changes by default, but can be set in the Document Setup.
I'll get back soon with more.

@VectorStyler Yes, the issue I was having is it was reverting work and removing all Undo steps before that change after the revert. So I could not get back recent changes. This seemed to trigger really when I was Undo-ing much more frequently, for example, repeatedly laying down lines with the Pencil tool and playing with the Stroke panel to get a certain look. When I do another intensive document, I'll try to capture it in better detail. I have other footage, but I have to dig through it to make clips...
