Could be that the settings or workspace got broken after the update.
Exit, remove the settings/workspace files and restart the app.

Looks like it happens everywhere! Also with transform tool, shapes, images ...

@Ayo In the Help menu there is a reveal WorkSpace folder, this will open the folder where the workspace files are.
exit the app and remove all these files

It could be that some of these settings changes caused the Shift+ issue.
So next time the Shift+ problem occurs, just zip all those files in the resources folder (they contains the user settings and the workspace customizations) and send them to me.
