CMYK color mode does not work (Windows)
-
If I create a CMYK document in Windows version, i only get a blank screen (no canvasI. The same happens when trying to change the document color mode from RGB to CMYK.
-
@Arde What color profile was selected for the CMYK mode?
-
It does not seem to matter, I have tried with the default US Web Coated and standard European profiles (ISO Coated v2, Euroscale Coated, Coated Fogra 39. and several other).

@Arde I added this to the backlog as a bug. Tried to replicate on Windows, but it works on my machine.
One more thing to try: what is the setting in Edit -> Preferences -> Performance section "Compute Engine" field?
Check if CMYK does works with "Software" mode?

It was in Software computing mode but it also happens in OpenCL mode. It also happens with Grayscale document mode. Objects are there, but everything is black (or gray, if I have light UI mode). When turning back to RGB, everything behaves normally.
On another Windows computer there are no issues. There should not be anything special on the one where I can experience it and it runs ok all other similar software (e.g. Adobe and Affinity apps, CorelDRAW and QuarkXPress). Its display card is pretty old but I'd experience these kinds of problems if I had the app in OpenCL mode, but not in software rendering mode.

@Arde Thanks for the details.

@Arde There were changes in the way documents are displayed on Windows. Let me know if the CMYK display issue still shows up on the older computer.
