Canvas roles are not synced

    There are two places you can set canvas roles (at least so far I found two places, maybe there are more, who knows...):

    1. In the Canvas Options dialog, and...
    2. In the Canvas & Artboard Panel menu

    The selected roles in these two places are not synced up. You can select a role in one place and it will not be reflected in the other (and vice versa).

    1. Select a canvas in the Canvas & Artboard Panel
    2. Bring up the Canvas Options dialog
    3. Click the Canvas Role button and select a role, say "Shape". When you click the Canvas Role button/dropdown again, you will see a checkmark next to the selected role (Shape).
    4. Close the Canvas Options dialog and go to the Canvas & Artboard Panel menu > Canvas Role. Notice the role that you selected is not checked.
    5. Select a different role for the canvas in the Canvas & Artboard Panel menu from what you selected in the Canvas Options dialog (eg now select Color Style)
    6. Go back to the Canvas Options dialog and check the Canvas Role dropdown. Nothing is selected. Even the previously selected role (Shape) is unchecked.
