Missing font warning not appearing

I noticed that I am no longer getting the missing font warnings when I open existing VS documents. At first I wondered if this was related to the link breakage issue I had before, but it's also happening with files that do not have a link break as well. It just opens to the file without a prompt and uses a replacement font instead, unless the font is saved in the VS internal font manager.
I tried on two different computers both running build 76. I removed the preferences and tried with the default preferences and had the same problem persist on both machines.

I added this to the backlog, and will try to replicate it.
What happens if you remove both the settings.xml and workspace.xml files (backing up first) ?

@Boldline Replicated this problem, it is a regression, has nothing to do with settings or workspace.
Fix will be in the next build.
