Ungrouping vectors including live text on a path causes it to go wonky

If I group live text on a path along with other vector elements in order to scale it down without the text rotating on me in the process, and then later ungroup it, the text does not maintain the same position as when grouped. Here is the video for this
I feel stuck because I often need to scale a design including live text on a curve, but if I do it without grouping, the text moves all over. I can group it and scale and the text remains where I originally placed it, until I ungroup, and then I have a mess.

@Boldline Yes, this can be replicated. I added it to the backlog, and will try to fix it ASAP.
In the case where is the scaling is uniform, there could be a workaround: select the text and in the "Text on Path" command, select Radial Position and a suitable angle.
