Merge deletes certain fills not others

This may just be a general issue with the merge tool, but after clipping an expanded blend inside a shape, I went to merge the shape and some of the green stripes of the blend disappear - I tried the standard things to check but it's still happening...
Top image is the original and bottom is after merging.
UPDATE: Perhaps it did not need a final merge because I can go in and remove the pink myself already...0_1657813993400_merge issue after clipping.vstyler

@Boldline yes, this can be replicated here, caused by precisely matching edges of those shapes. I will try to find a solution.

@VectorStyler Thanks for explaining - makes sense now. A solution has been elusive so far but I have total faith you'll eventually find a great solution. Until then we'll make do!
