Align to key object ( accumulated )
-
@b77 Wow, the whole time I assumed the url was record.it, but it is recordit.co... So problem solved, lol.
-
However, if it's not a problem I'd like to use ShareX + imgur. Seemed to work well or not?
-
@Nils If ShareX records at more than 4 frames per second and uploads the video to Imgur directly, it's great!
-
@b77 Can't tell if there's sarcasm in there somewhere, lol.. But unfortunately ShareX doesn't upload to imgur automatically it produces a gif that you then have to upload yourself...
-
@Nils No sarcasm. So it doesn't upload automatically to Imgur?
(Also, Recordit in its free version records at only 4 frames/second, that's why I asked).
-
@b77 4 fps? That's a crime, lol. No automatic upload and unfortunately I just had to discover a 30s time limit for the free version, which sucks aswell. Going to look for something else.
-
@Nils For quick bug reports it's OK. However direct upload to Imgur is something I couldn't find yet…
-
@Nils Let me know if this issue can still be replicated in build 1.1.024
-
@vectoradmin Unfortunately this still happens.
Here's what you can see in the following gif:
- align to key object is enabled throughout all of the actions
- when clicking on align to key first
- a blue indicator on the last selected object can be seen
- the last selected object becomes the key
- when not
- no blue indicator can be seen
- the first selected object becomes the key
-
@Nils Yes, I think the issue is when using the popover Alignment panel. When clicking away, the "key object click" is not handled because the panel is already closed.
In this case, the floating Alignment panel should be used.I will think of a solution of clicking away from the popover panel could still register the key object click.
-
@vectoradmin Can confirm that it works with the panel. However, testing this I discovered a slight nuisance:
Regardless whether or not the option has been previously enabled in the panel, after selecting any two objects one has to first reclick the option again to get the blue indicators to show up and the key alignment to work, as seen in the gif below.
-
@Nils Yes, changing selection will reset the key object. I will try to find a solution for this.
