Grid snapping virtually doesn't work if the grid is angled
-
Here's a document with an ISO grid and an oval. Enable only Grid Snapping and try to snap the oval to the grid. Good luck!

@pentool replicated the problem, but it is not the snapping that is broken.
The "Align to Pixel" is enabled for the object and causes additional changes to the shape after it is moved, so it will never align to the grid.
-
Oh yeah, I remember checking that. But the reason I checked it because the snapping didn’t work before it was checked either.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the "Align to Pixel" option only has to do with things when you transform the object. So shape changes will be aligned to pixels avoiding possible aliasing effects during export, etc. But it has no effect on snapping to the grid.
For example, when you change the grid in the attached file to the standard vertical + horizontal grid, you will see that grid snapping behaves very differently (the way it should). But when it's angled, it doesn't snap correctly (or at all).

@pentool said in Grid snapping virtually doesn't work if the grid is angled:
"Align to Pixel"
Align to pixel is a sort of "shape effect" added dynamically to the object that will alter the object shape to align to pixel.
This effect exists on top of the other shape effects and transform in a "live" form. This thing conflicts with any sort of snapping, because after moving the object, the "live" align to pixel adjusts the shape to align to pixels.

@pentool Managed to replicate some issues without Align to Pixel. Will be fixed ASAP.
