Transparency Mask / Gradient Mask Editor erratic behaviour
-
On Windows 10, I am experiencing this:
Scenario 1
- Draw a rectangle and fill it with a colour
- Select the Gradient Mask Editor
- With the rectangle still selected, click and drag across using the Gradient Mask Editor to create a linear mask
- Reduce overall opacity of the rectangle to 50%
- Now rotate the rectangle 45 degrees
Notice how the gradient effect has been clipped and has not rotated
Scenario 2
- Create a rectangle and fill it with a colour
- Rotate the rectangle 45 degrees
- Select the Gradient Mask Editor to apply a linear gradient mask
- Click and drag from the left to the right side
Notice how the effect has been drawn. Instead of having a horizontal mask you get a vertical one.
Having completed all the listed steps for both scenarios, bring up the overall opacity of the rectangles to 100% and again reduce it to 50%.
Interesting bug this one...

@William-Kansepa Added this to the backlog, will get back with more once I managed to replicate it.

I am happy to report that this is now sorted out and working as expected in update 1.1.087.
Thank you so much @VectorStyler.
