Re: File name passing during printing
This has turned up another issue, if you change the name of the VS file via the OS (Mac in my case), the document setup retains the original name and NOT The changed name.
TBH, is it absolutely necessary to have the filename kept within the document setup, couldn't it simply use the actual filename at print time ???It's been causing me major headaches over the past few months as the filename is passed to the laser cutter via the internal document setup name and NOT the unique OS filename. I regularly make modified copies of a file and simply rename via the OS (or save as) - sadly, the doc setup retains the original name, wreaking havoc in the laser database with the correct data but wrong filename
As an aside to all this - but perhaps connected, can anyone think why my laser cutter always thinks there are two pages to a VS document ??? Is there some other hidden gem that VS is passing when 'printing' ?? Doesn't happen with any other app, just VS
I haven't ever tried to print from VS directly to a 'regular' printer.TIA

Yes, actual filename passing issue is now fixed - thanks ! - but it still retains the original filename in the Document Setup panel for some reason ??

Yes, this has not changed.

@VectorStyler
OK, I'm sure there will be a reason for that
It's not an issue.
