Pen tool - Cusp nodes in smooth node mode
-
The new option for the pen tool to draw only with smooth nodes has really made hand tracing enjoyable and faster.
But I find that it still puts a lot of cusp nodes, both in this quick example, and in the illustration I emailed you, where I'm in the 500% zoom often.
I simply can't figure out the pattern though? Seen since introduction of feature at least on macOS.
PS: The label in the context toolbar seems to be Smooth node: ... should be Smooth nodes

@Ingolf I will try to replicate and fix this ASAP.

Any progress with this?
The pattern I see is that if I make a lot of nodes fast - and I work fast - I can make Vectorstyler make tons of cusp nodes in smooth nodes mode. If I slow down and make a node per second, it doesn't.

@Ingolf Could not replicate this earlier. I will try again, with the new info.
