Layer thumbnail preview when dragging Layers
-
Minor detail but when dragging a Layer by click and dragging its thumbnail, perhaps the enlarged preview needs to be disabled so that it doesn't occur accidentally if the dragging is moving away from the mini thumbnail.
But perhaps a more user friendly option is that the preview can appear temporarily, but when dragged to another element below or above, change this preview to the dragging preview instead, so a smooth changeover in animations occurs. That way it's "learned" by the user that clicking that area will generate the thumbnail first, but the act of dragging will dismiss it. So it allows the original action to occur, but slowly instills in the user overtime not to drag by that spot. (but still less disruptive anyway)
Just a thought. Perhaps others have some other idea how to best address this.

Will be fixed in the next build.
