command paste not working to paste copied text into save box

VS is not letting me paste text in the "save-as" name entry box using the keyboard shortcut of "command-v". I can right-click with my mouse and successfully use the paste option there, bit not the keyboard shortcut. This is on the Mac M1

@Boldline Yes this happens on Intel Macs also. Will try to fix it.
