LCH Document Color Defaults
-
This from v151 re: LCH color still appears to be an issue.
https://vimeo.com/436274476 (approx, @2:00)When setting up a new document default and selecting LCH color, I would expect any newly created object to use the LCH color as their default. This does not appear to be the case. Perhaps this is a bug?

Could not replicate this. Will investigate more.
The palette was in RGB so there is a bug.
The color panel did use LCH.

Hi,
The new build of the VectorStyler beta should fix this issue.
A bit about color mode modes:
- in Lab and LCH, the palette will still contain RGB colors as it is much closer to the displayable spectrum.
- image effects, gradients, and all rendering is done in the selected color space (including Lab or LCH).
- the visual appearance of image effects, blend modes and colors in gradients of course depend on the selected color space.
-
In v153, I set up File > New Document Setup and select LCH as color default. This then creates a new document. Choosing File > Document Setup now shows the Color as being RGB.
-
cannot replicate this in build 153.
are there multiple documents open?
-
@vectoradmin No. Only a single document. Here's a preview. (still uploading video - check back in 2 mins)

Thanks for the video. Will look into this more.
There might be a some issue on the setup view.
