Brush Tool size slider does not start increasing until halfway

I noticed when I use the brush tool stroke size slider, the size of the brush does not increase from zero until halfway across the slider. is there a way it could start at zero on the far left and go up from there?

@Boldline Looks like a problem with the slider when using very large units (inches). Added as a bug to the backlog.
