I tested multiple scenarios. Creating a new document and selecting ungrouped objects works fine, but when scattered shapes are combined (grouped), selecting them starts to lag once the quantity reaches a certain point. Sometimes, after closing and reopening the document, selecting the shapes no longer causes lag. Last year, I thought it was due to my hardware limitations, but I just upgraded my CPU to an R5 9600X this year. Now I’m certain this is a software bug. Hoping for a fix."

@VectorStyler Did you watch the video? The issue I'm reporting is about lag when selecting multiple combined objects, not when moving them.

Yes I watched, but here the selection has no issues.
At 00:52 I see a box selection that holds for a while, but here the selection worked fine.I will test this on Windows also.

@VectorStyler Here are two files provided: one with combined elements. I've tested it—when this file is closed and reopened, there's no lag during selection. The other file contains scattered elements. You can test further by combining more shapes.
