Settings Preset runs a check to see if active preset file is saved to current settings before switching presets

  • Could we add an option in the Settings preset section to make it noticeable if edits have been made to the settings that are different from the saved file?
So if I create a custom preset in the settings panel and save it and make it active in VS, if I go along and modify the settings afterward, there's no way for me to know later on if those adjusted settings have been saved in that preset or not (unless I rely on my own memory)
When I want to switch between my custom settings preset and the default, I am always wondering if I need to re-save the custom preset because I may have updated the settings over time since I last made that custom preset active. or I may want to save out what is newly edited in the preset settings and create a new custom preset file.

I propose either adding an asterisk by the setting or have VS offer a popup warning that the preset setting has been edited and can be saved, a new preset created and saved or the changes can be ignored by the user. Sort of like what happens currently with a VS file we've edited when we go to close it out.

@Boldline I will try to implement this.
