Screen Glitches when Erasing Text Completely
-
(Issue 1) I often use Ctrl + A to delete entire lines of text to reinput. When I do this very quickly in VS, occasionally I get what I call "tiny box syndrome" (occurs at @0:38) where the text element loses the ability to be changed (it's deselected) and I have to reselect manually. So that was the main bug I was trying to report...
(Issue 2) Well, when I was recording to report this issue, I found a new glitch. No idea what is happening here, but the viewport shoots off somewhere into unknown space despite the ruler showing it's in the correct place, but the text caret remains on the screen, is extra large (despite zoom levels being the same) and is occasionally at an angle... and even duplicated and mirrored in some cases.
Oh, I've realized a cause for Issue 2. There is an envelope applied on that Text element. I created new text elements and it didn't do this. Probably I tapped a shortcut for it when I was trying to reproduce the issue and restore some text. But yeah, erasing text causes the viewpoint to go out into unknown space.
