VS doesn't save paper type while printing

While sending documents for printing, the paper type won't change - recording
-
@VectorStyler I'm bumping this thread since I'm unsure if you've read it. The issue still exists. Even when VS shows Photo paper and printing quality, it still sends "Plain paper" and "Normal" quality settings to the printer. I think this problem showed up in a few former builds. I didn't have these issues before.
Printer: Brother MFC-J4620DW with the latest drivers.

I opened a bug on this.

@Harry I could not replicate this with the printer drivers I have.
-
@VectorStyler I installed the printer by "Add Printer" command in Windows. I'm using 22/08/2023 (C1) version from this site Brother drivers

I will try to replicate with that

@Harry I tried the same steps as the recording with the same driver on Windows 11, but here the paper type is remembered.
One thing to try: create an empty document, and print one page with that printer but first change the paper type.
Then (after printing) save the document and send it to me by email.
VS should save the last printing settings with the document.
I can check if it has been saved correctly.

File sent by email.
The strangest thing is that now VS remembers Photo paper and quality but prints in Normal.
Wiin 11 and VS 1.2.054 and 055
There are no such issues with other software.

@Harry Got it, I will reopen this issue.
