  • @VectorStyler

You've heard it many times and it certainly won't be the last.
But I wanted to express my appreciation once again

I'd like to say again how impressed I am by your enormous workload.
Other companies would need 10 or more updates for something you do in one.

A deep bow from me and a big thank you.

Almost a Same Day Delivery Service of bug fixes and new features. Unprecedented!
Still a few questions about v.031.

Added the "Transformed Fill" (and Content) option to the transform panel menu.

    I can not find it...

I post Distribute and organize objects between layers and sub-layers: you announced:

Meanwhile, an other approach is already implemented (for the next build) that adds minimal changes to existing functionality. Let's see how this will work out first.

I can't find this either or am I overlooking something?

Nevertheless, you will also receive a deep bow and a big thank you from me, quoting Subpath's striking words.

    "Transformed Fill"

This is visible only when an object with fill is selected.

About organizing layers: there are two features (one already existed with a minor bug).

The first (new) feature is the "Place Before/After/Inside" commands from the Layers panel menu.

    • assuming that the on canvas and Layers panel selection are not synchronized (here is the advantage)
    • select some objects on the canvas (with the regular selection tools).
    • scroll to and highlight an object in the Layers panel (this will have the strong blue highlight).
    • then the "Place Before/After/Inside" commands of the Layers panel menu will place the selection on the canvas before/after/inside the highlighted object.

The other (existing) feature is using multiple Layers panels. In the Layers panel menu use the "Open New Panel" command to open another layers panel. Now you can position each list differently and use drag & drop to move or copy objects between the panels.

There are also the "Open with..." layer panel opening modes that will fix the opened panel content to the current document (or location) and can be used to copy objects into (or from) an other document.

@VectorStyler, thank you for elaborating. However, this new method will not work if you have 'Select Highlighted' active. Tough for me since I like using 'Select Highlighted'. This setting is critical in my workflow.

That is true, this needs the separate selection mode.

But maybe then using two Layers panels might help.
