Move center point when scaling points

I want to select several points of a curve and scale them with a certain origin. However during this operation I'm unable to move the center point (origin of scaling operation). Is this a bug? The manual states:
Hover over the center node indicator. The cursor should change to indicate center node selection. Press and drag the mouse.
Move the center node to a new location.

@Clausj Center adjustment works for objects only at this time.
I open a bug on this one, and will try to implement for nodes also.
