Document Units
-
When I open another document type (specifically AI or an SVG), VS always has the default units in points.
Is there a way to override this to ensure everything is always converted to millimetres ?
I've been through the manual/help files, but can't find anything suitable.
TIA

Anyone got a solution for this ?

@Igull When creating a new document, set the unites in the General tab and confirm.
Next time creating a new document (without setup) should use those units.

Yes, creating a new document will use the same units, but opening an existing document - say an SVG or AI, will always default to points - that's my issue.
The opened document doesn't use the default values used by the default VS document - nor does it pick up the units from an AI document (I can't remember if SVG docs uses sizing or whether it is always in DPI).Neil

Got it. I added this to the backlog as a bug.
