Opacity of object reduced when grouping objects
-
Dear all,
please see the video.
If I pull the top object into the object below the opacity is suddenly increased, even that the other object is not visible.
If I remove the object even then the opacity is not recovered to the initial one.https://recordit.co/06NbmWuoaf
file can be provide if needed, as to big to attach here.
Thanks.

@MajorTom What I see in the recording is you are moving an object (the visibility of that object is turned off).
-
@Jayanta-Das yes, exactly the visibility id turned off, so I would expect that if the move the object down nothing would change, but as you can see the shadow of the mountain gets much brighter.
If I move the object back to the original place still the shadow is much brighter. I can only revoker the original shadow, when I close the file and reopen it.
-
@MajorTom Ok, I got it. Yes it seems shadows brighten up in the recording when the object(visibility off) placed above the shadow.
Did you tried refreshing right by mouse click?
-
@MajorTom Please send the file to csraba at vectorstyler.com I will try to replicate the issue.
-
@VectorStyler did send you the file.
Thanks.

@MajorTom Not sure if I identified the issue: what I get is that when I move the "{Path} Copy" into the group, the effect becomes lighter.
This is caused by the opacity set on the group. When the group is selected the Appearance panel will show an opacity value of 86% for the group.
