Guides and grid color issues

I have configured my own colors for guides and grid in preferences, but they are not used in old or new documents.
I then try to disable them in the open document setup but nothing changes after clicking OK and re-opening document properties show them as active with default colors.
Changing these colors in every document min document setup works though, but ...

@Ingolf In "Document Setup" -> Guides section, select a guideline color and confirm.
New documents should inherit this color.(there are some problems related to this, that will get fixed).
