Unable to create spaces between words

OS: macOS 10.14.5
Computer: Macbook Pro, 15-inch, Mid 2018Bug description: Can only delete objects via the edit menu, not using the delete button on my keyboard
To replicate:
- Select type tool.
- Begin typing and press the space bar.
- Result: Nothing happens.

Ok, this is a recent regression
caused by the hold-spacebar for panning feature.

beta 29: fixed regression in text editing, spacebar inserts space in text, panning is not activated while editing text.
