Invisible strokes drawn at certain zoom levels
-
I run into issues with the pencil/shape sketch tool where I cannot see the stroke I drew at certain zoom levels. When I zoom in the stroke becomes visible, and when I zoom out again this stroke is now also visible at other zoom levels.

Also the pencil and shape sketch tools tend to default back to zero for the stroke width, how can I set another width as default?
I am using the Mac Intel build 201 on a non-metal mac.

@postdes The default stroke width for the pen or pencil tool is the stroke with of the last selected object, or can be selected from the stroke panel.
I will try to replicate the zoom level issues.

@postdes Replicated the invisible stroke issue on High Sierra with OpenGL. Looks like a refresh issue (Command+R to fix). I add this to the backlog as a bug.

@postdes refresh issues of the path sketch tool are fixed in a new build.

The refresh issues on the drawing tools are gone now, thank you. However I still get problems related to refresh whan I select and move objects. See the screenshot.

@postdes Try to reset with Shift + Option + Command when starting the app.
I tried the latest release on a 2010 iMac, not metal capable with OpenGL, and could not replicate this issue.
Will keep it as an open bug.

@postdes One thing to try is to disable direct preview.
This can be done by unchecking View -> Display -> Direct Preview Editing.

The reset seems to have resolved some of the issues I had. I will have to do some more thorough testing though. It is a bit of a shame that some of the brushes I loaded in are also deleted because of the reset, but I can live with that if the app works as it should.

@postdes It is possible to store presets (including brushes) in a separate folder using preset groups.
If a reset is needed the folder is kept, only the group needs to be selected again.
