@MajorTom I like the "8" so far! You can always try to share files directly on the forum if you are comfortable with doing that.
The forum is very particular about file size, so if it does not accept your file you can aways stop a link to it in dropbox or in google, etc.
If you click on the icon shown in my image below, you can choose the file you want to upload.

I know I sent in some issues with Shape Builder today as well. It's going to be an awesome tool when the kinks get worked out.

There is a still open bug: non intersecting but close shapes are not handled.

Hi, the circle is snapping to the rectangle, but with the shape builder tool, the upper and lower part is selected at once. On the right side the upper and lower part are separated.
Is that a known issue? thanks.

@MajorTom Yes, it is a problem with precisely touching shapes (no intersection is formed).
I will try to find a solution for this (most cases are handled).

And please have a look at the Undo function with the shape builder.
It really does some strange things.
In this case I just pressed once Control-z and the whole shape get out of control.

I was trying to replicate this case, but here the upper / lower part of that region is separate.
