Font not rendering

I have some fonts including my main clients that does not work, they don't render. In the list there is a TT symbol in front of the name. Any ideas?

@Clausj Are these fonts installed in the OS, or added to VS separately?
What is the font name? Is this on Windows or Mac?

Fonts installed in the system and work well otherwise. One font that don’t work is called Max. MacOS Big Sur.

@Clausj Some of these legacy OSX specific Type 1 fonts, stored in resource forks, will not be supported.
Type 1 fonts are supported only in the regular PFB/AFM file pair.

In the meantime I converted some of my old fonts with the app TransType 4. I recommend if anybody else has this problem and find it difficult to get updated original fonts.
