Composite Object Bugs ?
-
Found it a really nice option that we now (since 030) get a Composite Object
when we hold down the Alt key and select one of the Booleans. But when I do that, two things happen.
The first is when I select the whole Composite Object, the rotation point seems to be out of place.
The second is that the selection mode switches from rectangle to lasso selection.

@Subpath Can be replicated, will be fixed ASAP.

I would like to expand this just a little bit it does not only
concern rotation. It seems that every transformation in a
Composite Object becomes incorrect after some
moves/transformations.
-
@Subpath The Alt+ key issue should be fixed now, but the others are still open.

@vectoradmin
No problem and thanks for the info.
Did only want to mention that there are some more problems with
moving/transforming/copying Parts of a composite object then
only rotations.
-
I would add two more problems that I have.
- Scaling objects inside causes them to move strangely and sometimes deforms.
- Duplicating an object inside using the Alt key and drag creates multiple copies instead of one.
-
I found out that for composite objects only one copy is created.
If one goes the following way.Select the part you like to copy and hold the left mouse button
down then press the Alt Key just once. This works fine for me.

Curious, is there a way to auto reset an rotation point that has been moved, to go back to the original center of the object?
I am referring to a method other than manually dragging the rotation point. Thanks!

In Transform panel menu -> Reset Center.

@Subpath This problem should be fixed in 1.1.048
