Should "Locked" be renamed "Lock" "Hidden" be "Hide"?

Was wondering if it made more sense for "Locked" to be "Lock" and "Hidden" to be "Hide"? When I was teaching myself how to lock and unlock items, the past tense terms for both initially made me think it was referring to items already locked/hidden
