      This is one example of how AI can transform the software industry. Developer Brandon Thomas has recreated tools from the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and released them as open-source software under the name ArtCraft. In total, this comprises the seven most popular creative applications.

      I’ve just discovered an interesting tool for perspective drawing.

          Strange future... that is what i feel too. Appear that AI is to spit upwards (and have it land on oneself). Adobe pushed AI to force people use their product, now the tools are used against them. But... beyond that... i feel that knowledge, motivation and market will be lost. What motivation could have a developer to have succes in software industry, if after all, his star product could be "cloned" without too much effort.
          I believe i will go back to my wood workshop to make things with my hands. They cant be cloned... at least for now.
          Cheers.

            Having practical, real-life skills has never been a bad thing. After all, what
            skills does someone actually acquire by having AI generate an image
            and considering themselves an artist—as opposed to someone who
            has learned how to paint?

            Even if you don't like Adobe, this is something that couldn't leaves
            no one indifferent. After all, it’s not just about getting one over on Adobe
            or being able to clone software more easily.

            It will likely become significantly easier to develop malicious software—or to
            have it foisted upon you in the form of clones of popular programs. Ultimately,
            there’s no telling how much you can trust the people behind this.

            Incidentally, developing the clones itself reportedly cost around $2,000 in tokens;
            after all, an AI like that doesn't come for free. You don't even have to decompile
            the code, because AI can simply observe a piece of software's behavior and then
            replicate it.

            In any case, all of this raises a great many questions.
