Missing samples in the palette panel

The color samples are no longer available and it is no longer possible to add new ones.
What happened?

@Fertuffo Try closing and reopening the palette panel. If still empty, save that document and send it to me (palettes are in the VS document).
Also: it could be something with the workspace. Try backing it up and reseting to default.

Resetting to default solves the problem, but loading my custom workspaces reproposes the error
