Changing the UI font in the settings isn't reflecting - What am I missing?

Hello: I changed the UI font to Giphurs: https://uncut.wtf/sans-serif/giphurs/. Why isn't it reflecting post change on restart? I must be missing a step somewhere. Kindly help.
