Tiled windows keyboard shortcuts on macOS Sequoia
-
Not sure if this is a bug or by design, but since VectorStyler does not seem to have Window menu on macOS, none of the new keyboard shortcuts using the Fn or key for tiling windows do not work on macOS Sequoia, like Fn-Control-F, Fn-Control-C, Fn-Control-Arrows etc. (see the full list here https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mchl9674d0b0/15.0/mac/15.0).
The lack of Window menu also means the shortcut I use to send windows from one display to another do not work with VectorStyler. Any chance this could be added in the future?

@JuurGroove O will open a bug on this.

@VectorStyler Thanks! FWIW, if I hover my cursor above the green maximize circle on the top left hand corner of VS window, I can still access all the new tiling options, including the ability to send the window to the other screen and they all work just fine, so the functionality is all there but presumably because of the lack of Window menu in VS, the tiling keyboard shortcuts do not get triggered at all. Instead Fn-Control-F is confused for Control-F which brings up the Text on Path panel.

Yes, the problem is that MacOS has a bit strange way of handling certain shortcuts. If n action is not in the menu as they expect (with the standard action assigned to it), then it is not handled.
This creates problem with apps that allow menu customizations and don;t directly use those macos actions.
