Toggling views by shortcuts

  • I know we can save "Presets" in Navigator. (I'm still learning to work with this)

Perhaps there is a way to already work this way and if so, please let me know! However, would it be possible to add a feature where we save temporary zoom/view positions that we can save/reload using a shortcut. It would not be many. Maybe 2-4. But being able to save it "on the fly" using a shortcut and then toggling as needed would certainly be nice and being able to access through this the Navigator. Sort of like saveable/reloadable quick view settings.

I am trying to get around working with multiple View windows right now to test how it works with one View open only sessions. I had just thought about this and thought it would make working on illustrations so much faster if we could pull up/save Views on the fly and then be able to move around the document and being able to move that position (as needed). I like to be able to zoom out and see what it looks like much regularly. For example, seeing what thinks are looking like via the print view.

  • @debraspicher

    it may help for inspiration
    CorelDraw have a ViewManager/Panel
    for this

@debraspicher No possible to assign keys for now. I will add this to the backlog (of features).

  • @debraspicher , @VectorStyler

ok, VectorStylers Navigator has something similar,
but, sorry to say this, it's more cumbersome to use,
    especially the creating presets process

  • @VectorStyler If you do add this, please allow us to auto slot what we are looking at with a key press so that it reserves to that shortcut. If a saved view is already active, then it could reassign to that shortcut automatically, somehow? That way it becomes a part of the normal workflow and not just "a setting". Think emulators and save states, basically.
