Changing stroke width of scatter brush causing VS to lockup

Hi, ran into this repeatable problem.

1. Using line tool draw a line
2. Apply a scatter brush (screenshot below)
3. Using stroke width tool change width. The first change works ok. Adding another node causes program to freeze.
4. Close VectorStyler using Force Quit (see screenshot showing system memory).

[Not related but the straight line tooltip shortcut shows two backslashes.]

@Jono I opened a bug on this one. The variable width support for scatter brush is a new feature, and might still have problems.

@Jono I tried to replicate this issue, but it seems to be working here.

If you could provide an example file where dragging the width node results in a freeze, it might help replicating the issue.

I was able to replicate the same issue but it took adding more nodes and trying to use the stroke width tool further before it eventually froze on me

Here is a video where it froze while using the path width tool

The variable width support for scatter brush new feature seems awesome when it works! I hope the bug gets resolved because I could make good use of that new ability.

I agree, it will be awesome to have this feature available - lots of interesting possibilities.
