How can I make precise reflections with the Reflect tool?
-
When making a reflection with the refect tool it seems to place it not on the right spot. And it seems like the tool is not snapping to guides or shapes...
In the video the first reflection was done with the reflection tool.
The last reflection was done with the reflect panel (this one works the way the reflection tool should work, the only thing I forgot in the video was to make a copy...)

@FastVector There seems to be a bog (or two) here. First, the original should not move when using the reflect tool with the Alt+ key.
This can be solved with a convert to curves first on the original. The second issue is that snapping is not used by the reflect tool.
I opened a bug on this one.

Just another question about the reflection tool. When using the other transformation tools like scale and rotate, you can use the pivot point. But when I open the reflection tool I can't see the pivot point anymore. Is there a way to use it, or will this come in the future?

The pivot point in the reflect tool is the location of the first click.

@VectorStyler It would be nice if you make the first click you will get an sort of pivot icon and if you click on the icon you can still drag it around (to correct your first click) and that this pivot icon can snap to guides, shapes etc.
