Sometimes lock icons in layer panel cannot be edited or wrong one switches
-
This is an occasional issue that occurs but is always fixed by restarting VS or closing out the file and reopening it. Trying to unlock a layer does not unlock it and instead other layers' locks get affected instead
Here is a link to this happening. I'm not really sure how to have you replicate it @VectorStyler because it goes away with a reopening of the file. It's also not just one specific file.

@Boldline Added this to the backlog, I will try to find what could cause this.
Could closing and reopening the Layers fix this?

I had not thought of that. I will try this the next time it occurs

@VectorStyler this situation occurred again last night. I did a screen record but it did not save properly. So for now I'll describe what I did.
I noticed that clicking on the lock icon or the eyeball icon would affect the equivalent icon two spots down from the intend one each time. The dot icon on the far end of each layer is not negatively affected by this.
Closing the layer panel and reopening fixes the issue. If it happens again, I'll try to get a video of it again and post it

@Boldline Looks like some sort of Layer panel update issue.
What were the actions just before this occurred?

Ugh! I didn't think to check what I had just been doing specifically in the history. I will add this to what I do when I report issues.
If memory serves me correctly, I was rearranging live text and testing out different fonts and skewing them.
