Allow "Document Setup" edits to affect only current document
-
When I was playing around with editing document settings like the canvas color using the "document setup", I assumed it would only affect the current document, but the edits carried through to a newly created document. VS has an option for editing the settings of all new documents already in "New Document Setup".
It would make more sense to me that anything done in the "Document Setup" would only affect the current document. Any edits done in the "New Document Setup" would affect all documents going forward.
If this is not possible, maybe a checkbox in the "Document Setup" to tell VS to allow edits in the "Document Setup" to affect only that single document?

@Boldline Currently the changes made in the document setup are kept for the next one.
Should this be an option, or disabled?

confusing and unclear...
What is 'new'?
Is one 'Document Setup' an option?maybe:
Document Setup...
Checkbox: remember settings for new documents

Semantics
Maybe better: Remember settings for future documents. How do other programs do this? Nothing new right?
Connect to what is commonly used or best practice
Don't become an awkward application

I would consider having the option in the document setup as a check box but leave it off by default. So you can feel free to alter the options and not have it affect the next new file if you don't want it to
