Expand Stroke Weird Result

If I apply Styles > Expand Stroke to the objects, the result looks weird. Is there another method to expand the stroke?

@gotanidea Yes, replicated here also.

@VectorStyler Thanks for fixing Expand Stroke, but the result is not accurate (it becomes thinner) and it comes with a weird bounding mesh. Please see the screenshot below:
Expand_Stroke_Result_is_Thinner
If I ungroup it several times, it will disappear. So I have to apply Object > Convert to Curves to it and it will come with unnecessary objects, which I have to delete manually.

@gotanidea When using Expand Stroke on a vector brush, it will convert it into a group with a bend effect on it.
This allows the editing of the (expanded) brush content, while still retaining the original brush content distorted with a bend effect.Yes, a Convert to Curves is required to get to the actual distorted shapes, and this is by design.
I will try to fix the thinning issue.

@VectorStyler If we use Expand Stroke in Freehand or Outline Stroke in Illustrator, a vector brush stroke will be directly converted into a closed curve or path without additional bend effect.
Getting the Bend Effect after expanding a vector brush stroke is good to have, but I think those Freehand's and Illustrator's workflows are also good to minimize the number of nodes in the scene and to reduce the artwork complexity/ file size.
Could you please make another command called "Expand Stroke without Bend Effect" or maybe an option to exclude the Bend Effect when we click the Expand Stroke command?

I will find a solution for this. One could be to expand directly to curves (default Expand Stroke), and then a separate thing called Expand Brush for brushes only to get to the bend effect.

@VectorStyler Thank you Admin
