Aesthetic guideline for using shift modifier
-
An aesthetic and useful simple extra I found in Affinity Designer2 that would improve VS is a simple guideline that appears when the shift modifier is held down as you move an object or live text box, etc. It acts like a visual guide reminder of where you are moving that shape to and the constrained angles the shift modifier allows for maintaining. In the video at about 20 sec, I let go of the shift modifier key for a short time to show it can be moved freely when the shift key is not in use
