Option to respect existing groups clipped within a shape with deep select tool?

@VectorStyler said in update 1.1.083:@Boldline The context panel has the "deep select" mode for the transform tool. I tested with that.
Also, the Magic Wand tool should "deep select" now.I moved this topic to it's own thread when I realized I wanted to delve a little deeper.
If something is grouped before being clipped inside of another shape, is there a way to respect that grouping when I select on a part of it with the "deep select" transform tool? Right now I have to find a way to select all the pieces individually or dragging over them all to select them (aside from doing magic wand or select same. (Can this set of tools have the option to reside in the vertical toolbar? I keep forgetting they are options because I'm not thinking of them as being in the main horizontal tool area. Is this a 1.2 improvement potentially?)

Not currently. The only way to do this is to use the regular selection mode (first icon) and then double click to isolate into the clipped shape.
