Adding formulas to get unique effects

I came across this tweet the other day on Twitter and it got me thinking about how cool it would be to have real time effects like this bell shape function in VS.
I'm looking at this from a view that the designer does not have to guess as to how certain effects would be added, but can apply a formula or a script in VS and get an automatic perfect result. Much like in Blender one can add a virtual cloth over a shape and the cloth will take on the appropriate bends and folds as if it were actually covering the object below it.I don't know if this post is useful or not as I'm not a developer or coder, but I felt compelled to share it just in case.
I know there is a plan to add python and javascript coding to VS in a future stage of the roadmap. Perhaps these live effect options can be added at that point if not there already?
Here is a link to the ability to convert an image to halftones - It appears to me this is at least in part possible already with the repeater tool.

Terrific! I figured this was the case. I came across these examples the other day and it got my mind racing with ideas. I wanted to be sure I submitted it for future reference if applicable. Glad to know it's on the roadmap!

Not really great at math. But found scripting always very helpful
to streamline or automate steps in a program

@Subpath I'm sure there will be plenty of room to create and export scripts in the future when we get to that place in the roadmap. Hopefully there will be ways for graphic designers to be able to create them without knowing all the code! It's possible that something like Chat-GPT or the like will be able to translate one's ideas into a script that can be pasted in and tested - that would be cool!
