File crashes when opening

I was making a document, and did some work on it, but after I saved the file and closed vectorstyler, the file now crashes every time i try to open it or import it. please help. I kept saving over the same version rather than making a new version each time (my fault) but this is a bit disheartening...

I downloaded the file and then tried opening it two times and it crashed for me both times. I am using the 73 build. I will send the error report. This is on the M1 Mac mini

@coolio00111 The problem is identified. The crash will not occur in all systems, but there is a bug.
I sent you by email a file that should open.The fix will be in the next build.

I am on the Mac Studio with the latest build I believe.
Nice to know that the file isn't lost! Praise God.
Also was having some issues where I would click a text box, be able to edit the text, then if I click the text box again, the text wouldn't be able to be edited. I would have to re-open vectorstyler.

@coolio00111 The fix for this error will be in the next build.
As a workaround for now, I recommend setting the "File Format" mode to "Binary" in the Document Setup.
The problem occurs when the "Compact" (default) format mode is used with certain image types.

@VectorStyler VectorStyler v1.1.072 and v1.1.073 always crash on my system too. I tried to open @coolio00111 's file and it also crashed on my laptop (Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with the latest version of Windows 11)
I can't find the crash log file in C:\Users<user>\NumericPath and C:\Users<user>\NumericPath\VectorStyler1.0
Please fix this as soon as possible, because I can't open many important files now

@gotanidea Hi there! I understand the frustration, but the developer did mention he already found the issue and it will be fixed in the next build. He also shared a workaround for the time being until the next build is released. did you see those comments in this thread?

@gotanidea I will try to have the new build released in the next 24 hours.
In the meanwhile, I can convert any files with issues.BTW: it might be that these file crashes are caused by different bugs, so if you send me a file by email, that crashes I can test it here.

@VectorStyler I just sent an example file and the crash log file to csraba@vectorstyler.com. You will be able to open it on your system, because the linked images aren't embedded in the VectorStyler file. Unfortunately, I can't share the linked images (the bitmap files), but I think you can use the VectorStyler file for investigation.
As for the file conversion, I can't share those files, so I will just wait for the new build. Thanks

@gotanidea Got the file. The new build will be up soon, and it should fix the crashing, no need to share other files.
