Is it possible to implement these features/ tools in Vectorstyler?

    This is my first post on this forum .
    I have discovered this great program by accident 🙂
    Sombody mentioned about it on Affinity forum. I decided to give it a try. I got a 50% off the original price and just bought it with no hesitation.
    Well, I am using this software for about week now and my impressions are positive. There are some minor glitches but they don't bother me.
    Anyways, I would like to ask if is possible to implement these features in upcoming updates, or newer vers of Vectorstyler.

    Here is my list:

    -B-Spline tool
    It was a great tool available in old Serif Draw Plus X8 unfortunately not in new Affinity Suite.
    It really speed up my workflow. Here is an example:

    -Page manager
    It was very intuitive and fast option to create different so called artboards. I prefered this much more, than one available in Illustrator or Affinity Designer.

    -Group/ Ungroup tab
    I would like to see this feature in Vectorstyler. It's a huge time saver.

    -Navigation bar
    The option in Vectorstyler is ok, but there is a room for improvement. I really like to how it worked in Draw Plus X8
    I know its an old software, but I think it was ahead of the time, unfortunately Serif killed it and replaced with less features packed Affinity Suite:-(

    -Collapsible Side Panels
    This was great feature as well , You could quickly toggle on/off unused panels.

    -Tool Tabs
    This is really awesome feature available in Rhino 3d. It allows to customize toolbar according to user preferences.
    Is it possible to do something similar in Vectorstyler?

    There are couple more tools /improvements related to UX/UI design I would like to see in Vectorstyler but this is a topic for the next post.

    @visualrevolt Hi, and welcome to VectorStyler.

    Some of these are doable, but maybe later (after 1.2):

    B-Spline tool

    Yes, this is in the backlog (but after 1.2). There is a Smooth Nodes option in the context panel for the Pen tool. Not the same as b-spline, but can click+create smooth curves.

    Page manager

    Was not planning this in the roadmap for now.
    There is the Canvas & Artboard panel but without previews.
    To preview an artboard, longpress with the mouse on the artboard icon.

    Group/ Ungroup tab

    There is in the roadmap a context sensitive / customizable command popover menu, but this is further down the road.

    Navigation bar

    There is the navigator panel, and then the zoom / pan / rotate tools at the bottom of the toolbox.
    Maybe having some of these tools into the status bar (bottom row of the window) could be added.

    Collapsible Side Panels

    Added this to the backlog. There is a plan to have panels collapsed to icons.

    Tool Tabs

    This is possible already. Just drag the tool group popover from its title knob (vertical line on the left), and place it anywhere on the screen, or dock it on the side.

    BTW: many of the vertical panels (like Transform, Stroke, etc) can be docked horizontally also, where they change layout.
